Buddha

We made a pilgrimage to the holy site of Buddha, located in Oregon WI.

A new friend that I found sitting on the sidewalk.

Inside the Temple.
I would hang this decoration in my room.

Awkward.

Young Ja and her twins in her new living room.

Outside of the Temple.

A random offering

The End.

More Babies!

I guess there's some kind of random baby theme going on.

A sprouting baby sunflower growing on our window.

My twin and me with our twin nieces! Manic Madison is on the right, and attentive Allison is on the left.

Baby Bird.

A few days ago we found a baby cardinal in our front yard. He was sitting in the tree in front of our house.
I'll call him burt.

Neat is my new word.

Ok so I can't sleep. I didn't happen to take a new picture today, but I found an old one.

I thought it was pretty neat. It's a random picture from Hawaii. Neat.

Mission Complete.

Another day..and I'm about ready for a break! Gum sounds good.
What? All I wanted was some gum, and instead I got another thing to pile onto my to do list? What a ripoff! I want a refund!

..Wait a second..this one's easy!

I found her!

Mission complete.

I took this recently on one of my hikes across the dunes of Paria Canyon, Arizona.

I wish.

I found it on National Geographic's Greatest photographs of all time.

It was taken by a photographer named Jack Dykinga. He had to wait for the seasonal rains to come for 6 different tries before he got the kind of shot that he wanted.

Feathers

My family has a friend who struggles with alchohol, and he got put in jail for DUI. He gave me and my sister an eagle feather one time. He's Native American so in their culture that means a lot, since the eagle represents connection to the creator.

We thought it would be nice to send him a card to show we're thinking of him. I deceided to make one with a picture of my feather on the front.

Silly Goose!

I was on my way home the other day when I spotted some cool looking geese. After chasing them down and scaring them, I gave them a nice photo-op.

Day 3

I spent most of today just sitting around the house. So I found a pretty flower to take a picture of:

Nothing else much to say.

Woo Hoo day 2.

Well I guess I spaced out a little bit yesterday, but that's ok. Today I couldn't find much to take pictures of..So I drove down the road and took a snapshot of our donkey friends.

Whenever we visit they like to greet us with loud screeches and honks! It probably annoys the people who live there.

First Post

Welcome to my blog! My name is Lisa and I love photography. I made a goal to take one photo a day, just for the sake of it.

My first picture is of a zuccini chip that I started making for the dehydrator. It's a little bit random, but I love the design in the center. I'll call him Bob.
Well I have nothing more to blab about, so I better get going.
